The newly renovated Center in the Square will have several options for dining. Whether grabbing a quick bite to eat while waiting for a show at the Science Museum's planetarium or whether you are looking to linger on the rooftop over dinner with friends, Center will have several options available.
The Roanoke Weiner Stand currently resides on the street level of Center in the Square. This popular Market Square eatery will remain housed within Center's building but will have locations more convenient to Center's visitors.
The Roanoke Weiner Stand, also fondly referred to as 'The Hot Dog King", has been an icon in the Roanoke Valley since 1916, as well as being known nationwide for its famous hotdogs. The Roanoke Weiner Stand will be able to accommodate even more diners in its new expanded space and will continue with the same friendly service and quality that have made it what it is today.
The Rooftop Pavilion will feature a unique dining and entertainment facility where you can take advantage of the interesting views of Market Square, Downtown Roanoke and the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains.
In addition, a large, easily accessible catering area has been planned for the atrium level within Mill Mountain Theatre's lobby area.
